Part 25 of 35 The way to the Father
Jesus's friends were troubled, because he had told them he would soon leave them. He comforted them: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. In My Father's house are many rooms… I am going there to prepare a place for you… I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am" (John 14:1–3).
"Lord," said Thomas, "we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:5–6).
Imagined The house
However many people arrive, there is always another room ready, with a light in the window and a bed made up.
Real world Homes for everyone
A safe home is one of the most basic human needs. Habitat for Humanity, a Christian charity founded in 1976, helps families build or repair homes, with volunteers working side by side with the families who will live there.
